Refund & Cancellation Policy
General payment, cancellation, and refund practices for Techiconix services.
Effective Date: August 16, 2026
Last Updated: August 16, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the general payment, cancellation, and refund practices applicable to services provided by Techiconix. Specific proposals, contracts, or statements of work may contain different terms. Where a signed agreement contains different terms, that agreement controls.
1. General Principle
Techiconix provides professional services requiring strategy, staff time, research, development, design, configuration, and other resources. For this reason, payments for work already performed or resources already committed are generally non-refundable.
We aim to handle legitimate billing concerns fairly and encourage clients to contact us promptly if an issue arises.
2. Project-Based Services
Unless otherwise agreed, project-based services may require 50% upfront to begin work and 50% before final launch or delivery. For larger projects, milestone terms such as 40% / 30% / 30% may be used.
Once work has commenced, the initial deposit covers reserved production capacity, planning, and work performed and is generally non-refundable.
3. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client cancels before meaningful work has commenced, Techiconix may consider a full or partial refund after deducting payment-processing costs, third-party charges, purchased assets, administrative costs, and work already completed. Any specific cancellation terms in the accepted proposal will take priority.
4. Cancellation After Work Begins
Where a project is cancelled after work has begun, completed work remains billable, deposits applied to completed work are not refundable, third-party expenses remain payable, and any unpaid work performed before cancellation may be invoiced. Final files or deliverables may be withheld until outstanding balances are paid.
5. Recurring Services
Recurring services may include Amazon management, Walmart management, SEO, Google Ads management, social media management, email marketing, content marketing, CRO, website maintenance, GoHighLevel management, marketing automation, and other monthly retainers.
Unless a proposal states otherwise, cancellation applies prospectively and does not create a refund for a service period that has already started. Certain services may have an initial minimum commitment when specified in the proposal or agreement. Clients remain responsible for charges within an agreed minimum term.
6. Cancellation Notice
Where no different contractual requirement applies, clients should provide cancellation notice in writing by email to admin@techiconix.com. We recommend submitting cancellation before the next billing period begins. Cancellation is not considered confirmed until Techiconix acknowledges the request.
7. Advertising Spend
Advertising spend paid to platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, Walmart, or other media providers is separate from Techiconix management fees. Advertising spend is generally paid directly to the applicable platform and is not refundable by Techiconix. Any platform refunds are governed by the platform’s policies.
8. Third-Party Costs
Third-party purchases are generally non-refundable through Techiconix once purchased or committed. Examples include domains, hosting, plugins, themes, software subscriptions, GoHighLevel fees, SMS or email credits, telephone charges, API usage, AI usage, stock assets, premium fonts, applications, marketplace fees, and licenses.
9. GoHighLevel and Automation Projects
GHL implementation and automation projects may involve substantial upfront configuration, including CRM setup, pipelines, funnels, workflows, email/SMS configuration, integrations, calendars, forms, tracking, and testing. Once implementation work has started, setup payments are generally non-refundable.
Monthly management may be cancelled according to the applicable service agreement. Usage-based costs remain payable.
10. Website Development
Website deposits become non-refundable after work begins. If a client cancels during development, Techiconix may provide completed work after outstanding fees for work performed have been paid. Domains, hosting, licenses, and other third-party purchases remain subject to their own provider terms.
11. Design Services
Design payments cover creative time and production resources. Once concepts or design work have been created, amounts covering that work are generally non-refundable. Revision limits may be established in the project proposal, and additional revisions may incur additional charges.
12. E-Commerce Services
Fees paid for research, listing work, marketplace management, creative services, account setup, or related work are not conditioned on a particular level of sales. A lack of a desired marketplace result does not automatically create a right to a refund.
13. Delays Caused by the Client
Payments are not refundable solely because a project is delayed due to missing client content, missing credentials, delayed approvals or feedback, unavailable products, third-party platform issues, or client-requested scope changes.
14. Unsatisfactory Service Concerns
If you believe Techiconix has not delivered services consistent with an agreed scope, contact us before initiating a payment dispute. We will review the applicable scope, communications, and work delivered and attempt to resolve legitimate concerns.
15. Chargebacks
Clients should contact Techiconix before filing a chargeback or payment dispute. A chargeback does not automatically terminate contractual payment obligations for legitimate work already performed. Techiconix may provide relevant proposals, approvals, communications, and delivery records to payment providers when responding to a dispute.
16. Recurring Billing Authorization
Where recurring billing is used, Techiconix will seek appropriate authorization before charging the payment method provided. Clients should be informed of recurring terms before enrollment and given a reasonable method for requesting cancellation.
17. Approved Refunds
Where Techiconix approves a refund, it will generally be returned through the original payment method where practicable. Processing time may depend on banks and payment providers.
18. Contact
Refund and cancellation requests should be sent to admin@techiconix.com. Include the client/company name, service purchased, invoice number if available, and the reason for the cancellation or refund request.
